Welcome to Queen Victoria School!!

Queen Victoria School, the oldest operating school in Belleville, located on the east side of the Moira River, serves approximately 230 students from Kindergarten to Grade 6.  Queen Victoria School opened officially on Friday, November 8, 1912.

At QVS, we are proud of our longstanding history in the Belleville community.  The staff, students, and families at QVS are excited and proud of what we do each day.  We teach.  We support.  We learn. We grow.  Our shaded, spacious playground has equipment for all ages.  Growing with Character is a valued part of the curriculum and celebrated in each classroom with a Student of the Week.  The school works to promote home and school partnerships with parental involvement in the School Council, Food For Learning Program, and Trading Post.  School information is delivered through monthly calendars, Facebook and School Messenger.  QVS is also home to the Primary and Junior Adventure Class programs.  Students proceed to Queen Elizabeth School in Belleville for Grades 7 and 8.

Within the next 6-12 months, Queen Victoria School students and staff will join together with Queen Elizabeth PS students and staff to learn in a new school, Easthill Elementary School, currently being built on the Queen Elizabeth site.
