Progress Reports will arrive home with students on November 18.
Reviewing this Progress Report with your child is a great opportunity for students and parents to reflect on their progress so far, what they feel they do well, and set some goals for Term 1. You will notice that the first page of the Progress Report contains information about Learning Skills and Work Habits.
Here is a list of these skills and habits as well as sample behaviours related to each one.

Every School Day Counts
Student's achievement improves with students being at school regularly, on time, all day to be able to learn from teachers and alongside classmates. Our school day starts at 9:00am and ends at 3:20pm. Please help your child to be at school on time and be at school at the end of the day to pick them up at the dismissal bell.

Looking for Board Games and Gently Used Equipment
Indoor recess games are needed to keep QVS students playing and having fun when they can't get outside. If you have any board games that you are willing to donate and don't need back, please send them to school with your child. We are asking that all games be complete to avoid the frustration of playing a game that is missing some parts and pieces.
Board and card games are an excellent way for students to have fun and learn important literacy and numeracy skills at the same time!
We are also looking for donations of gently used soccer balls and basketballs - if you have extras, please send them into QVS.
